Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to enable secure and efficient development across Cat Technology.
You will collaborate with several development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments, leveraging IaC practices and AWS services to deliver high quality software to customers. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in DevOps, strong CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, and hands-on AWS infrastructure management, including CloudFormation and IAM.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Experience with AWS cloud services (IAM, S3, Lambda, SageMaker, API Gateway, RDS).
- Deep understanding of CI/CD principles and best practices.
- Strong experience creating, managing, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
- Experience managing and deploying AWS infrastructure via AWS CloudFormation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multiple development teams to implement DevOps best practices and standards.
- Create, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.
- Deploy and optimize cloud infrastructure using IaC tools.
- Participate in setting DevOps standards across Cat Digital teams.
- Assist developers with cloud service usage and troubleshooting.
