Job summary

Peregrine Advisors in Washington, DC is seeking engineers to drive modern cloud-native applications on an AWS stack, owning features from refinement to production and delivering event-driven, serverless workflows using Lambda and Step Functions.

You will integrate COTS products with internal frameworks, design API interconnections, and build data and document pipelines to automate manual processes, while maintaining code quality and security practices.

Qualifications

• Willingness to own outcomes and learn quickly.
• Strong command of modern cloud development and ability to move between building new and improving existing systems.
• Experience with version control, automated testing, code reviews, secure coding, and accessibility.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with clients and teammates.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust determination; hybrid role based in Washington, DC area.

Responsibilities

• Lead feature delivery on a cloud-native AWS stack from refinement through production.
• Lead the development of event-driven, serverless workflows using Lambda and Step Functions.
• Own the integration of COTS products with internal frameworks.
• Design and deliver API interconnections for modern system architectures.
