Job summary

PeopleTec is seeking a Senior Cloud Developer to join our Huntsville, AL team. The role requires deep expertise in AWS, IaC, containerization, and secure cloud deployments, with the ability to design and implement scalable cloud solutions.

Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and possess an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Travel approx. 10% and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in cloud development and DevOps practices.
• Strong experience with AWS services, patching, CloudFormation, and security tooling.
• Proficient with IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, Packer; CI/CD with GitLab.

Opportunity

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Cloud Developer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Experience:

• 8 years of experience
• Good experience in AWS, Patching, CloudFormation, ALB's, Encryption
• Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, Ansible, Packer; GitLab CI/CD; Containerization - Docker/Podman; Deployment and maintenance of Grafana and Kafka; Ansible Automation Platform experience; Splunk Index configuration; Lambda/SNS/AWS experience; Nice: Orchestration - Kubernetes
• Experience with these AWS Services - S3, IAM, Route 53, EventBridge, Recycle Bin, Data Lifecycle Manager, Systems Manager, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Security Hub, Inspector, Trusted Advisor, ECS, EKS
• Travel: 10 %
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in related field or in lieu of degree 4 additional years of experience
