Job summary

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) seeks a Senior Cloud DBA to manage cloud-based databases in secured environments, including AWS GovCloud, with emphasis on provisioning, backup, and performance. You will collaborate with cloud, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance, data integrity, and high availability for mission-critical applications.

Candidates should have 5+ years DBA, 3+ years cloud, active TS clearance, and DoD 8140 baseline Security+ CE or higher; travel may be

Qualifications

• 5+ years DBA experience in regulated environments
• 3+ years in cloud environments
• Active TS clearance required
• DoD 8140 baseline: Security+ CE (or higher) preferred

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain cloud-based database platforms in secure environments (AWS GovCloud)
• Design and manage backup, recovery, replication, and high-availability solutions
• Develop IaC solutions and automate database administration tasks
• Apply STIGs, access control, and compliance monitoring across cloud assets
• Collaborate with cloud engineers, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity teams to ensure performance and security
