Job summary

GoldenGate Service seeks an experienced Production Engineer to secure reliability and scale in a global cloud-native environment. You will own the health of a multi-tenant service, automate operations, and collaborate with software, infrastructure, and customer-facing teams.

The role requires a TS clearance, strong Linux and networking basics, and solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC. You will influence service design and KPI-driven improvements across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required with active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.
• 7+ years of production engineering experience with distributed services or cloud platforms.
• Strong automation experience and scripting skills (bash, Python, etc).
• Solid understanding of software engineering and computer science principles.
• Solid Linux Systems Engineering knowledge.
• Strong networking, security, and storage fundamentals.
• Experience with Docker.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Experience with Terraform and/or Ansible.
• Experience building fully automated CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Hudson, TeamCity, etc).
• Ability to define KPIs and business metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, availability, and customer experience of GoldenGate service.
• Collaborate with software, cloud infra, and customer-facing teams to maintain service health.
• Drive roadmap and enable automation improvements across the stack.
• Develop and monitor meaningful KPIs and operational metrics.
• Champion secure, scalable, and highly available cloud services.
