Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking exceptional software engineers to join the Cloud Scaling team, building a cutting-edge cloud-native database platform on top of the public cloud. You will work on our in-house Kubernetes operator and collaborate with the core database team to deliver scalable, highly available infrastructure.

Requirements include 5+ years in distributed systems, production experience with Go, C++, or Java, and strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience in distributed systems.
• Production experience with Go, C++, or Java.
• Experience with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build a cloud-native database platform on the public cloud.
• Develop and operate the in-house Kubernetes operator.
• Improve the metrics pipeline and analytics for better insights.
• Collaborate with core database and data plane teams on infra use cases.
• Architect scalable, highly available distributed infrastructure.
