Job summary

CDK Global, LLC is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead large‑scale data engineering and cloud migration initiatives. You will architect and implement enterprise ETL systems using Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and AWS Glue, and guide modernization from on‑prem to cloud platforms across Azure and AWS.

The role emphasizes data modeling, ingestion frameworks, and cross‑functional leadership with CRM and security teams. Strong SQL Server, T‑SQL, and coding skills in C#/Python are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE or related field required.
• 8+ years in software development or data engineering roles.
• Strong experience with SQL Server and T‑SQL in transactional and analytic workloads.
• Proven track record migrating on‑prem ETL to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Hands‑on with ETL tools: SSIS, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and buildout of enterprise ETL & data processing systems.
• Architect migration paths from on‑prem to cloud for CRM/enterprise data.
• Mentor engineers, drive QA validation, and ensure data quality.
• Collaborate with security, CRM, and cloud teams on modernization.
