Job summary

Allstate Insurance Company seeks an Infrastructure, Data, and Automation Engineer to advance Property Claims’ cloud-first data initiatives. The role spans Azure, AWS, on-prem Linux, and automation across real-time analytics and vendor integrations.

The candidate will design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure, implement IaC with Terraform/Env0, and collaborate on CI/CD for infrastructure and applications. Strong Python and SQL skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills with data engineering, ETL and automation use cases.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including query development and data modeling.
• Familiarity with Oracle databases.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure services such as Event Hub and ADLS storage.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain Azure resources including ADLS Gen2, Event Hub, Function Apps and Azure SQL Managed Instance.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and Env0.
• Support GitHub-based CI/CD integration for infrastructure and application delivery.
• Build and maintain solutions across Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, OneLake, Pipelines, and Real-Time Analytics.
• Enable secure vendor integrations through SFTP and API-based patterns.
