Job summary

Jobgether SRL in the United States seeks a Principal Cyber Systems Engineer to secure and evolve enterprise environments at scale, spanning Linux/Windows and cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with engineers across AWS and hybrid-cloud, provide Tier-2/3 support, develop engineering docs, and lead security-focused infrastructure initiatives while mentoring peers in an Agile work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or higher in lieu of degree.
• Experience designing, deploying, administering, and supporting cloud-based solutions.
• Strong Linux/Windows administration in large enterprise environments.
• Experience with AWS or other major cloud platforms and hybrid-cloud environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide Tier-2/3 support.
• Understanding of enterprise infrastructure, security, and reliability.
• Cloud security principles and standards experience.
• Agile development environment experience.
• Willingness to travel ~10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide system administration support while maintaining security standards.
• Design, build, deploy, and maintain AWS and hybrid-cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and provide Tier-2/3 support for enterprise systems.
• Administer Linux and Windows operating systems in large environments.
• Collect/analyze system data to identify issues and performance trends.
• Support network upgrades with minimal disruption.
• Produce documentation and system diagrams of configurations.
• Contribute to IT design, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure reliability.
• Apply cloud security principles across infrastructure and operations.
• Support Agile processes and contribute to engineering practices.
