Job summary

Innovative Solutions is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our Managed Services Team. You will design and support AWS cloud environments for clients, implement security best practices, and collaborate on technology roadmaps.

The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and experience with EC2, networking, and security tools while managing multiple client environments simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a relevant field or 3+ years AWS Cloud experience.
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate certificate or equivalent.
• Experience designing and deploying AWS infrastructure for clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, implement, support, and recommend AWS cloud solutions for clients.
• Design, deploy, and manage AWS network infrastructure (VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53).
• Architect and deploy AWS infrastructure for hosting business applications (EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, EFS).
• Ensure security and Well-Architected compliance using IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub.
• Implement and test DR/BC plans and AWS backups.
• Collaborate with TAMs and customers on cloud strategy and roadmaps.
• Design architectures with CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS Control Tower.
• Maintain runbooks and automate with AWS-native tools (System Manager, CloudWatch, Lambda).
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintenance windows.
