Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced Command & Control Systems Platform and Infrastructure Engineer to guide a team in modernizing and securing cloud-based C2 infrastructure. You will design, deploy and harden containerized platforms spanning data centers, edge, and cloud components, collaborating with architects and engineers across DevOps practices.

With 8+ years in infra or platform engineering and DoD-relevant experience, you will implement IaC, security hardening, and observability

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure or platform engineering with technical leadership on production systems.
• Experience operating Kubernetes at production scale, including cluster deployment, day-2 operations, upgrades, and security hardening.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, and ArgoCD or Flux.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management using Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience implementing and operating an observability stack such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK or OpenTelemetry.
• Experience designing and deploying systems in secure, air‑gapped, or DDIL environments.
• Ability to translate mission and reliability requirements into resilient, automated platform designs.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team of cloud professionals to design, deploy, and harden containerized platforms.
• Collaborate with cloud architects to implement Kubernetes-based infrastructure across data centers and edge.
• Lead the development of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows for DoD C2 systems.
• Translate mission requirements into secure, scalable, automated platform designs.
