HP IQ is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot. You will collaborate across product and frontend teams to deliver robust, secure microservices and contribute to cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks and debugging practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following established best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver end-to-end features.
• Integrate with databases and external services, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
