Supermicro is hiring a Staff Engineer to lead the design and delivery of SuperCloud Automation Center (SCAC) — the platform powering enterprise-grade automation from firmware to full-scale AI workloads across data center and edge environments. This is a high-impact role where you’ll shape secure, scalable cloud architectures and guide customers from concept to production.

Responsibilities include architecture leadership, rapid PoCs, end-to-end delivery, and creating architecture artifacts.

Formación

• BS in CS/EE or related field.
• 10+ years in technical lead roles owning HLD/LLD.
• Strong Python coding and Linux development experience.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architecture and design for cloud-based orchestration and provisioning.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and production-ready products.
• Own end-to-end SCAC delivery including discovery, architecture, and deployment.
• Create architecture artifacts: HLD/LLD, diagrams, data flows, ADRs.
• Define integration patterns across software stack and platforms."
• Enforce standards with reference architectures and IaC modules.
• Champion zero-trust security and vulnerability practices.
• Manage cluster bring-up, upgrades, patching, and teardown.
• Define installer strategy and UX details.
• Formalize API contracts, telemetry, and external registries.
• Lead performance and scalability modeling and validation.
