Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer 3 to architect, design, and implement mission-focused cloud solutions. You will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure, scalable cloud delivery.

Responsibilities include leading cloud governance, automation, and risk assessments while staying current with best practices in cloud security and architecture.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud solution architecture or senior cloud engineering.
• Certification meeting DoD 8140/8570 standards (e.g., Security+).
• Extensive AWS cloud architecture experience at scale across IL5–IL6+.
• Hands-on AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, EBS.
• Strong cloud security knowledge and controls (IAM, SSO, federation).
• Infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Proficient in Python and Bash for automation.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities
