Job summary
Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to lead the technical architecture across cloud platforms, ensuring secure, scalable, and resilient solutions. The role translates strategy into practical patterns, templates, and reusable capabilities while guiding engineering teams through modernization efforts.
Reporting to enterprise architecture and collaborating with SRE, Security, and Platform Operations, you will drive automation, IaC, CI/CD, and governance to raise reliability
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of cloud architecture and/or development experience.
- Experience with Azure or other enterprise public clouds.
- Proven ability to design secure, scalable cloud architectures and implement IaC/CI/CD.
Responsibilities
- Design secure, scalable cloud platform architectures aligned with security standards.
- Translate strategy into reference architectures, patterns, and standards.
- Lead modernization and automation across cloud platform domains.
- Guide engineering teams and participate in architecture reviews.
- Ensure governance, observability, and operational excellence.
