Job summary
Rapid Cycle Solutions LLC in Chantilly, VA seeks a Cloud Engineer Expert/Advisor to provide multi-cloud management advisory services, supporting national security objectives. You will guide mission users on cloud-based IT systems and help develop or migrate applications to the cloud, plus oversee deployment, troubleshooting and maintenance.

Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology, system administration or related discipline and 8 years' experience
- Thorough knowledge and/or certifications in AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud, Google Cloud, and IBM Cloud
- Expertise in IT architecture, software development, and operations
- Engineering and Technology - knowledge of practical engineering applications
- Customer Service - knowledge of customer service principles
- Design - knowledge of design techniques and principles
- Project planning and management skills
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to resolve problems and lead groups
- Complex Problem Solving - identify problems and evaluate options
- Technology Design - generating or adapting equipment
- Troubleshooting - identifying causes and solutions
- Critical Thinking - applying logic to evaluate
- Systems Analysis - determine how a system should work
- Operations Analysis - analyze needs and requirements
- Identify technology gaps in current capabilities
- Develop a project plan and workflow
- Troubleshoot and solve technical and non-technical issues
- Convey technical information to non-technical individuals
Responsibilities
- Advise on optimal cloud-based solutions to meet mission requirements
- Provide cloud strategy covering security fabrics for multi-cloud environments
- Define and document deployment and maintenance best practices
- Review mission system requirements and provide technical recommendations
- Advise CSPs and IC Elements on new/existing offerings in C2E
- Develop and maintain cloud cost management strategy and budgeting support
- Mentor development teams to build cloud competencies
- Advise on application performance, uptime, and scale with high code quality
- Convert customer requirements into cloud service specifications
- Perform feasibility analyses, cost estimation, and interface definitions
