Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related engineering discipline (equivalent experience also considered).
• 10+ years of software engineering or architecture experience focusing on cloud technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Strong leadership with experience guiding diverse teams.
• Proven track record leading architecture for globally deployed commercial software.
• High ownership, collaborative, and able to deliver high-quality results.
• Extensive knowledge of cloud-native tools, languages, and frameworks.
• Working knowledge of LLMs and machine learning in development contexts.
• Broad software development and architecture knowledge with deep domain expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions across diverse teams in a matrix setting.
• Mentor developers on technologies and career development paths.
• Evaluate the feasibility of alternative directions in future architecture/platform development through modeling and prototyping.
• Ensure selected architecture achieves security, scalability, and resilience.
• Influence the design, architecture, and implementation of cloud-native experiences (frontend and backend).
• Design and implement high-quality code for complex areas.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to translate business needs into software.
• Evangelize and distribute technical information.
• Present to Autodesk management on key architectural initiatives.
• Contribute to near and long-term technology roadmaps.
• Champion industry best practices.
• Serve as SME in cloud-native technologies, including Material UI, React, Redux, Web Components, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and AWS-based server-side infrastructure.
