The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud-based systems architecture, with demonstrable expertise in DevSecOps, system lifecycle development, and Agile methodologies. In this pivotal role, you will design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud environments across various platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define effective cloud strategies. Your responsibilities will include applying DevSecOps practices to optimize system development, participating in Agile development activities like Program Increment Planning and Sprint Execution, and utilizing cloud service provider technologies such as AWS, Azure, Google, and Oracle to deliver innovative solutions. Required skills and experience include a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM discipline, although six (6) years of experience as a Cloud Architect may be considered in lieu of a degree. Candidates must have a minimum of six (6) years of experience in architecting cloud-based systems and hold an active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.

Desired skills and experience include hands-on experience with one or more major Cloud Service Providers: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, or Google Cloud Platform; familiarity with multiple cloud computing concepts such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS; experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) implementation and integration; strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and tools; working knowledge of full Systems Engineering lifecycle practices; Agile experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence; cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.); experience working in a SAFe Agile environment, with SAFe certifications as a plus; and familiarity with modeling and architecture tools such as Cameo.
