val's services seeks a Senior Associate, Cloud – GCP to lead design and implementation of secure, scalable GCP infrastructure within a cloud transformation practice. The role emphasizes architectural excellence, automation, and collaboration with on-premises integrations.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of GCP experience, strong scripting and networking skills, and the ability to mentor teammates while delivering production-ready cloud architectures using Terraform and cloud-native tools.

Qualifications

• At least three years of recent GCP or equivalent cloud systems experience.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience designing cloud architectures, implementing production infrastructures, and working with cloud-native container technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting, Unix/Linux environments, source code management, and strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of GCP infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop expertise in GCP networking and hybrid cloud integrations.
• Architect secure, reliable hybrid cloud environments linking on-premises with GCP.
• Build scalable data platforms using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub for advanced analytics.
• Support Generative AI initiatives with Vertex AI.
• Implement security controls, compliance policies, and automate resource management with CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical mentorship to team members.
