Job summary

ManpowerGroup's client seeks an Application Architect III / Cloud Engineer in Plano, TX, hybrid work (3 days onsite). You will design and deliver cloud solutions in Azure, emphasize security, and collaborate with engineers, QA, and PMs to ensure reliable releases.

The role requires infrastructure as code (Terraform), public cloud experience, and strong CI/CD with Maven/Jenkins and Java or Python. You will contribute to cloud governance and secure, high-performance code.

Qualifications

• Experience writing infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Experience building and working with public cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on familiarity with Terraform Enterprise and related capabilities such as Private Module Registry and Terraform Sentinel.
• Deep knowledge of web protocols, multiple operating systems, hypervisors, and distributed systems architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD toolchains such as Maven/Jenkins and general programming languages such as Java and/or Python.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver solutions aligned with the bank’s cloud strategy.
• Design, implement, and maintain new software solutions as part of cloud enablement.
• Ensure code meets standards for accessibility, security, and performance; write unit/integration tests.
• Participate in requirements, architecture reviews, and design meetings with cross-functional teams.
