Job summary

Symantrix inc is looking for a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to lead the modernization of a client's enterprise cloud platform. In this hybrid role, you will work three days onsite in Irving, TX, with the remainder remote. Responsibilities include defining cloud architecture standards across AWS and Azure, leading migration efforts, and collaborating with engineering leadership.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in cloud architecture with strong capabilities in AWS and Azure services. A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred. This is a long-term contract position managed by Symantrix.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software or infrastructure engineering, 3+ years in cloud architecture.
• Experience with AWS and Azure services including compute, networking, and IAM.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies and cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Define target‑state cloud architecture across AWS and Azure.
• Translate business requirements into reference architectures.
• Lead phased migration of legacy workloads to the cloud.
