Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Architect to join the Consumer & Community Banking team. You will drive high-quality architecture solutions for cloud-based applications, act as a core technical contributor, and guide AI-enabled patterns across SDLC with strong data security and auditability.

The role requires 5+ years in architecture, hands-on system design, and proficiency in one or more programming languages.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operations.
• Advanced knowledge of at least one programming language.
• Proficiency in SDLC, CI/CD, resiliency and security practices.
• Familiarity with AI workflows and evaluating new technologies.
• Ability to integrate AI-enabled capabilities into cloud-native architectures.
• Experience in financial services IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Engages technical teams and stakeholders to discuss and propose architectural approaches.
• Defines the target state of the product and drives strategy implementation.
• Leverages AI capabilities with human-in-the-loop validation and data protections.
• Evaluates new technologies and provides feedback on architecture designs.
• Executes software solutions with troubleshooting and innovative problem solving.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and peer reviews.
• Identifies opportunities to automate recurring issues for stability.
• Establishes reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns with governance.
