Job summary

Arch Capital Services LLC in the United States seeks a Cloud Application Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize cloud-native applications on Azure and AWS, using DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC to accelerate delivery and support enterprise cloud transformation.

You will build automated pipelines with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and Harness, implement security gates, and instrument applications with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana, collaborating across software, infra, and automation teams.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Harness, Jenkins.
• Strong scripting ability (PowerShell, Python, Bash, YAML).
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), and containerized deployments.
• Understanding of serverless architectures, PaaS, and container orchestration.
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-native apps using Azure/AWS services.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Harness.
• Define and consume IaC modules (Terraform, Ansible) to provision environments across dev, QA, and prod.
• Implement security scanning and quality gates in pipelines.
• Instrument apps for monitoring and alerting with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Collaborate with developers, infra, and automation teams to support delivery.
• Document deployments, processes, and engineering best practices.
