Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Sr. Advanced Software Engineer in Phoenix to design, build, test, and deploy a distributed, event-driven microservices platform for aviation SaaS tools.

You will work in a hybrid schedule at our Phoenix location and contribute to cloud-first strategies. You will mentor under senior engineers, implement CD practices, tackle production issues, and collaborate across teams using Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and Azure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as STEM.
• 6+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
• Experience in C# and cloud-first development.
• Experience with microservices and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test new features.
• Learn and use continuous delivery skills including the writing, and integration of Unit, Functional, Contract tests and Canary deployment strategies.
• Diagnose and address problems.
• Occasional off-shift activity for production support issues.
