Job summary

EqualAccess is seeking a senior Cloud & AI Security Engineer in New York, NY, to own cloud security architecture across AWS and Azure while expanding governance for generative AI and LLM-based tooling. This is a hands-on role, delivering security controls, automation, and secure integrations with CI/CD pipelines.

You will partner with Infra, Cloud, Development, Data, and Cybersecurity teams to implement guardrails and secure cloud-native applications, containers, and APIs in a heavily regulated

Qualifications

• Five+ years in cybersecurity or security engineering with hands-on cloud security experience in AWS and/or Azure.
• Deep knowledge of IAM, SSO, MFA, RBAC, privileged access, secrets management, and cloud encryption.
• Practical experience with CNAPP/CSPM platforms such as Wiz, Prisma Cloud, Defender for Cloud or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls across AWS and Azure for workloads, SaaS apps, APIs, containers, and data platforms.
• Develop cloud security standards, Zero Trust, and least-privilege models; conduct risk assessments.
• Build security automation and DevSecOps integrations using Python/PowerShell and orchestration tools.
