World Bank Group seeks an experienced ET Consultant- (Cloud & Data Centers) to advise on modernization of national digital infrastructure. You will guide cloud adoption, data center strategy, and AI infrastructure plans for governments, with emphasis on resilience, security, and long-term sustainability.

Role requires extensive cloud modernization experience, strong stakeholder engagement, and ability to operate across diverse markets. International travel may be required.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in a relevant field with extensive experience in cloud and data-center modernization.
• 10+ years in cloud adoption, IT modernization, or related areas.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and services including generative AI and LLMs.
• Experience structuring technology investments and engaging with private sector providers.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills; ability to translate technical concepts into strategy.
• Experience working in emerging markets.
• Fluency in English; French/Portuguese/Spanish preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic and technical advisory on modernization of public-sector digital infrastructure, including cloud adoption and data centers.
• Guide transitions to interoperable, scalable, and resilient digital infrastructure across governments.
• Lead cloud readiness diagnostics, migration roadmaps, and reference architectures.
• Advise on cyber resilience, disaster recovery, and high availability within government cloud strategies.
• Support legacy modernization through cloud migration approaches and structured frameworks.
• Identify public and private investment opportunities in cloud and AI infrastructure.
