KeyBank seeks a Lead Closing Officer to provide advanced closing expertise for a national team and to ensure high‑quality execution across the closing lifecycle. You will coordinate with clients, counsel, title and insurance providers, and internal partners to meet pre‑closing due diligence and credit terms.

You will oversee pre/post closing activities, review loan documents, and guide closing officers while driving process improvements and risk controls. Hybrid work options are available.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Paralegal training, law degree and/or LPO license (preferred).
• 3+ years of related experience in banking or financial services; familiarity with closing processes and commercial real estate loan financing; multi-bank loan participations/syndications and secondary market standards.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end pre- and post-closing activities for complex loan structures, including Healthcare and Institutional Real Estate.
• Provide subject-matter expertise throughout the closing process, including review of credit approvals, term sheets, closing checklists, and all items required to close.
• Coordinate funding, booking, and settlement, including funding notices, closing statements, wire callbacks, and booking documentation.
• Review third-party reports and collateral documentation to ensure compliance with regulations and bank standards.
• Identify, resolve, and elevate risks, exceptions, and issues; communicate resolutions to management and partners.
• Support post- closing activities and loan modifications, ensuring accuracy and risk management.
