Job summary

KeyBank is seeking a Lead Closing Officer to provide advanced closing expertise for a national team within the Institutional Capital Group. You will oversee preclosing, closing, and postclosing activities for healthcare and institutional real estate loans, ensuring accuracy and compliance across the closing lifecycle.

You will collaborate with attorneys, title providers, banks, and internal stakeholders to review documents, manage risks, and drive timely closings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in banking or financial services (required)
• Experience with closing complex commercial real estate loans
• Familiarity with healthcare products is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end pre- and postclosing activities for complex loan structures.
• Provide subject-matter expertise throughout the closing process and coordinate timelines.
• Review third-party reports and insurance; prepare funding notices and closing statements.
• Guide and mentor team members; support postclosing activities and loan modifications.
