Job summary

The People Concern is seeking a HSSP Senior Clinician in Los Angeles to provide psychotherapy to adults with severe mental illness as part of the Housing Supportive Services Program (PSH). You will work with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate mental health and recovery services, aiming to ensure housing stability and community integration.

You will conduct individual, family and group psychotherapy, develop service plans, participate in program evaluation, and maintain comprehensive member

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited university.
• Valid registration or licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• At least 1,000 clinical hours accrued toward licensure.
• Current, valid California Driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and reliable vehicle.
• Able to transport members in your personal vehicle.
• Outstanding clinical and strong team-building skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate, and implement mental health and recovery support services with individual members.
• Conduct individual, family and group psychotherapy.
• Develop effective, trusting relationships with members, focusing on independence and health maintenance.
• Collaborate with each member to develop and update their service plan.
• Assist management and other clinicians with program evaluation and future improvements.
• Support member engagement in daily activities, socialization, health maintenance, and recovery.
• Work with the HSSP team, attend weekly staff meetings and trainings, and maintain accurate member files.
