Job summary

National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP) is seeking a Lead Clinician for La Jornada to oversee clinical services, supervise staff, and provide case consultation for minors. The role requires ensuring confidential, on-site services and adherence to ORR timelines.

Ideal candidates have a master’s or doctoral degree in a behavioral health field, state licensure, and at least two years of direct service with supervisory experience, plus bilingual English/Spanish能力.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in psychology, social work, counseling, or related behavioral health discipline.
• Must be licensed to provide clinical services in the state where care is located.
• Two years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience.
• Must have supervisory experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish Fluency.
• Proficient use of computers, internet, and common software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical services for assigned minors and supervise clinical staff.
• Provide case consultation to a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ensure on-site, confidential child-facing services.
• Supervise clinicians and manage occasional caseload.
• Ensure timely clinical assessments within ORR timeframes.
• Maintain UC electronic and physical files and documentation.
