Job summary

Merck in Rahway, NJ seeks a Clinical Trials Lead to guide operational planning and execution of one or more trials within the Tulisokibart program. You will mentor teams, oversee protocol reviews, and coordinate governance to ensure milestones are met.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in pharmaceutical clinical development, GCP/ICH know‑how, and strong leadership to drive results across a matrix organization. Excellent communication and vendor management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of pharma/clinical drug development experience OR Master’s degree with 6+ years OR PhD/PharmD with 2+ years.
• Degree in life sciences preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GCP/ICH and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own operational planning, feasibility, execution, and conduct of clinical trials.
• Serve as Clinical Trial Team lead and coordinate study planning and governance.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders (study teams, vendors, country teams) to meet trial objectives.
• Mentor and develop junior staff; manage resources and performance.
