Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions is hiring a Clinical Trial Manager II in a hybrid role, based in Warren, NJ, Armonk, NY or Cambridge, MA. You will oversee CROs and vendors, ensure study budgets and timelines, and mentor junior team members across sponsor-driven trials.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain protocol expertise, and support audits, TMF reviews, and financial tracking throughout the study lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience including 3 years in clinical trial management.
• Reads, writes and speaks fluent English; fluent in host country language.
• Hybrid role requiring in-office work three days per week in Warren, NJ, Armonk, NY or Cambridge, MA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vendors (CRO, Biometrics, IXRS, PK/Central Lab, eTMF, Safety) to ensure budget, timelines and protocols are met.
• Develop strong vendor/site relationships and maintain continuity across trial phases.
• Bring study protocol knowledge to the team and share best practices; train as needed.
• Coordinate tasks with sponsor roles to achieve site readiness (materials, drug shipping approvals).
• Review CRO monitoring reports and related deliverables to demonstrate sponsor oversight.
• Review CRO eTMF/TMF to ensure standards and regulatory compliance.
• Negotiate scope of service, budgets and timelines with vendors to meet performance expectations.
• Support financial management including site/vendor invoices; contribute to risk management and audits.
