Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions in Warren, NJ is seeking a Clinical Trial Manager II to lead vendor oversight and cross-site study delivery in a sponsor-dedicated model.

You will build strong CRO/site relationships, guide teams on protocol requirements, manage timelines and budgets, and mentor junior colleagues. A hybrid arrangement requires three days in office per week in Warren, Armonk, or Cambridge.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in clinical, science, or health-related field; a licensed healthcare professional (e.g., registered nurse)
• 5 years of relevant experience including 3 years in clinical trial management
• Reads, writes and speaks fluent English; fluent in language of host country.
• Hybrid role – office-based three days per week in Warren, NJ, Armonk, NY or Cambridge, MA

Responsibilities

• Vendor oversight for adherence to budget, timelines and objectives of protocols/programs
• Develops strong vendor and site relationships across all trial phases
• Ensures study protocol understanding and trains teams on best practices
• Coordinates tasks with sponsor roles to ensure site readiness for drug shipping/receipts
• Reviews monitoring reports from CRO and TMF/eTMF to ensure compliance
• Revises scope of service agreements, budgets, plans and timelines with vendors
• Supports study finance through review/approval of site and vendor invoices
• Supports risk management and audit/inspection activities
• Maintains clinical trial registry entries/updates
• Provides mentorship to junior team members
