Job summary

Cardiovascular Associates of America seeks a Senior Clinical Trial Finance Specialist to manage end-to-end sponsorship finances for a portfolio of CVRS studies. You will review budgets, develop site costs, negotiate terms with sponsors or CROs, and configure budgets in REALTIME CTMS for accurate billing.

You will perform monthly billing, ensure documentation, reconcile payments, and support closeout activities while collaborating with research operations, sites, and finance partners to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent clinical research experience.
• 3+ years in clinical trial finance or budgeting.
• Experience negotiating budgets with sponsors/CROs.
• Experience with post-award billing and financial reconciliation.
• Ability to interpret protocols, budgets, and financial terms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and Excel skills.
• Ability to manage multiple studies and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Review protocols, budgets, and documents to identify financial requirements.
• Develop site budgets based on protocol visits and costs.
• Negotiate budgets with sponsors/CROs and document terms.
• Translate budgets into REALTIME CTMS configurations.
• Perform monthly billing for assigned studies.
• Coordinate invoiceable items and ensure timely billing.
• Reconcile payments against budgets and revenue.
• Closeout financial reconciliation at study closeout.
• Provide budget/billing guidance across the network.
