Gateway Healthcare Inc. in Pawtucket, RI seeks a Behavioral Health Clinician to provide initial evaluations, crisis intervention, and stabilization for consumers of all ages with behavioral health needs. Duties include screening, risk assessments, and coordinating care with families and professionals.

The role requires a Master's degree in counseling or related field, QMHP eligibility, and at least two years of behavioral health experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday with evening hours on-site.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
• Eligible for "Qualified Mental Health Professional" status.
• At least 2 years' experience in behavioral health settings.

Responsibilities

• Provides Screening Evaluation on the Telephone and Face to Face.
• Conducts biopsychosocial assessments in various settings and assesses risk.
• Completes crisis assessments and coordinates with family, police and other providers.
• Offers stabilization plans and least restrictive treatment options.
• Facilitates involuntary/voluntary hospitalizations when needed.
• Provides emergency case management until crisis resolution.
• Coordinates with ER staff and referrals; maintains documentation.
• Schedules and participates in psychiatric/medication evaluations as needed.
