Job summary

Parexel in the United States seeks a Senior Clinical Scientist to lead or support studies, accountable for the clinical/scientific execution of the protocol. The role includes serving as the scientific point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including IRB and sites.

The SCS will lead the Medical Monitoring (MM) team, develop the Medical Monitoring Plan (MMP), review SAE reports, monitor safety data, and contribute to protocol/CSR development, with opportunities to mentor others

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years with BS/BA or 5 years with MS/PhD in pharmaceutical and/or clinical drug development in last 10 years
Minimum 2 years as a lead CS (phase I-IV) with pharma/biotech/CRO in last 5 years
Minimum 2 years medical monitoring experience (reviewing patient data, resolving discrepancies)

Responsibilities

Lead or support studies; accountable for clinical/scientific execution of the protocol
Lead Medical Monitoring team: develop MMP and review SAE reports
Provide scientific input to data management activities (EDC, DRP, CRFs)
Coordinate planning of lab, bio specimens, and imaging specs
Mentor other CSs as needed
Collaborate with medical writing for CSRs, CTDs/WMAs
Support publications/presentations as needed
