Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Specialist to lead and oversee global clinical studies within the Surgical Operating Unit. You will manage study design, execution, and regulatory alignment while mentoring teammates and coordinating cross-functional collaboration.

The role emphasizes adherence to GCP/SOPs, site management responsibilities, and interaction with internal and external stakeholders to advance evidence generation for medical devices and related products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant clinical research experience or an advanced degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Medtronic systems and understanding of regulatory/quality environments.
• Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and designs clinical evaluation research studies.
• Prepares and authors protocols and patient record forms.
• Conducts clinical studies to evaluate products for medical need or commercial potential.
• Interprets clinical investigations results for use in new drug, device, or consumer applications.
• Manages site operations and vendor relationships in accordance with SOPs and GCP.
