Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Specialist (Sr. CRS) in our Surgical Operating Unit to lead and oversee global clinical studies.

You will manage projects from design through execution, ensure SOP and GCP compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners. The role emphasizes hands-on study delivery, site management, and evidence dissemination, with mentorship of peers as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside the United States, a degree that satisfies 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, designs, plans and develops clinical evaluation research studies.
• Prepares and authors protocols and patient record forms.
• Conducts registered and non-registered clinical studies of products that have been determined to satisfy a medical need and/or offer a commercial potential.
• Oversees and interpret results of clinical investigations in preparation for new drug, device, or consumer application.
• Oversees and resolves operational aspects of clinical trials in conjunction with project teams and SOPs, GCPs and country regulations; may prepare budgets.
• May be responsible for clinical supply operations, site and vendor selection.
