Job summary

AtriCure, Inc. is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate (Sr. CRA) to independently manage site management and monitoring during clinical trials within the Clinical Affairs team.

You will lead with autonomy, mentor junior staff, and ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity across study sites. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in clinical research, strong leadership and communication skills, and willingness to travel 10–75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of clinical research experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel between 10-75% of the time.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with clinical data management systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site management and monitoring activities across clinical trials.
• Oversight of site qualification, initiation, interim, and close-out visits.
• Lead training sessions (EDC, Protocol, Device) for site staff.
• Serve as primary contact for site communications and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with protocols and regulatory standards; manage data queries and data cleaning.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to SOPs and process improvements.
