Job summary

AtriCure, Inc. is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate (Sr. CRA) to independently manage site management and monitoring activities while guiding junior team members. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, data integrity, and leadership across clinical study execution.

The Sr. CRA will coordinate essential documents, conduct qualifications and training visits, and act as the primary site contact with study teams and CROs. Travel 10–75% is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years of clinical research experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with clinical data management systems.
• Willingness to travel 10–75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site management activities and monitor clinical investigations.
• Serve as primary site contact and liaise with study management and CROs.
• Ensure compliance with protocols and regulatory standards at sites.
• Review data for accuracy and lead data query resolution.
• Conduct site monitoring visits and review interim monitoring reports.
• Manage product safety events and support safety collaborations.
• Draft study materials and coordinate committees and vendors.
• Provide mentorship and contribute to project management initiatives.
• Support global process improvements and SOP updates.
