Job summary

The University of Miami/UHealth Department of SCCC has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Clinical Research Coordinator 3 to work at the UHealth medical campus in Miami, FL. This role leads planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of multiple protocols, ensuring study integrity and participant safety.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree, 4+ years of experience, and certification or six months to obtain certification from Assoc.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Certification and Licensing: Current Research Coordinator certification by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals or Society of Clinical Research Associates for a minimum of 6 months; if not held, six months to obtain it.
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes: Data collection, organization and analysis; problem solving; ability to prioritize work under pressure; discretion with confidential information; ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation of multiple complex clinical research protocols.
• Develop SOPs and templates with guidance from the PI/Clinical Research Manager.
• Oversee eligibility screening and study recruitment; implement accrual strategies.
• Manage sample processing, packing and shipping per protocol and standards.
• Plan and monitor deviations; implement preventive/corrective actions.
• Develop and disseminate clinical research best practices and manuals.
• Provide leadership in protocol implementation and study progress.
