The University of Miami/UHealth department of SCCC has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Clinical Research Coordinator 1 to work in Miami, FL. This entry level role provides foundational clinical research experience, handling data management and simple protocol implementation under supervision.

Primary duties include participant screening, informed consent, scheduling visits, data collection, and coordinating across multiple studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Nutrition Science, Exercise Physiology or Kinesiology.
• Certification and Licensing: CCRC, CCRP, or CCRA preferred
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in research
• Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
• Fluency in Spanish strongly preferred; Haitian Creole proficiency highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Perform chart review/pre-screening activities for study participant eligibility and coordination of simple clinical research protocols.
• Coordinate routine activities of clinical studies including data collection and maintenance, planning study timelines, schedules appointments and study visits, meeting scheduling, and project evaluation.
• Understands and follows technical instructions for operating clinical research equipment and problem solves when operational failures occur.
• Assist in observing and informing the PI/supervisor of adverse events, including those reported by study participants.
• Coordinate protocol-specific data collection procedures across multiple active studies and travel between sites throughout South Florida.
• Maintain participant engagement and ensure protocol requirements are completed accurately and within timelines.
