Job summary

AbbVie in the United States seeks an experienced Clinical Research Associate to partner with investigative sites, train staff, and ensure protocol and regulatory compliance across trials. You will monitor site performance, manage risk, and support data integrity while collaborating with global teams.

A health-related degree and at least 1 year of clinical research monitoring experience are expected; AbbVie offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Appropriate tertiary qualification in health related disciplines.
Minimum of 1 year of clinically related experience in clinical research monitoring.
Familiarity with risk-based monitoring, on-site and off-site monitoring.
Strong cross-functional collaboration and planning skills.

Responsibilities

Act as primary contact for investigative sites and coordinate site engagement.
Align and train site staff and principal investigator on trial goals and protocols.
Conduct site evaluations, training, monitoring, and closure activities per regulations and SOPs.
Engage with local insights and use CRM tools to report progress and measure impact.
Evaluate protocol and scientific principles in day-to-day trial execution and recruitment.
Mentor less experienced CRAs and participate in global/local task forces.
