Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Irvine, CA seeks a Quality & Safety Improvement Consultant IV to advance clinical quality and safety programs. The role focuses on risk mitigation, infection prevention, and evidence-based guideline development, while supporting regulatory reviews and data-driven improvement initiatives.

The candidate will lead education efforts, collaborate with regulators and internal stakeholders, and help sustain Kaiser’s continuous survey readiness and high standards of patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or higher with minimum four years in quality/performance improvement or seven years alternative.
• RN license (CA) required.
• Experience with databases and spreadsheets or CQI tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote learning and build cross-functional relationships; provide actionable feedback and champion change.
• Execute autonomous work to support projects; collaborate to achieve key business decisions and meet deadlines.
• Conduct data extraction, analysis, and presentation to support quality improvement and regulatory reporting.
• Develop quality improvement metrics and ensure practical, approved targets across departments.
• Lead and participate in initiatives using Lean/Six-Sigma concepts and data-driven methods.
