The role provides therapeutic evaluation and treatment for patients with psychological disorders, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team in a patient-centered medical home setting.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Doctoral degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD).
• Experience: Completion of an accredited postdoctoral program with enough clinical hours to be licensed as a clinical psychologist.
• Special Skills: Ability to obtain Colorado state licensure as a psychologist and credentialing through the University of Colorado Health system.
• Preferred: Experience with integrated team-based care in primary care settings.
• Preferred: Expertise in motivational interviewing and evidence-based psychotherapies.

Aufgaben

• Provide consultations and recommendations for behavioral health questions and presenting concerns to family medicine providers.
• Assess, diagnose and treat behavioral, mental, and emotional conditions.
• Facilitate group visits as needed.
• Design and implement health promotion and disease prevention interventions.
• Support goal setting and patient self-management skills.
• Directly supervise behavioral health trainees (graduate students, psychology interns, post-doctoral fellows, and pre-licensure psychologists).
• Provide team-based care with multidisciplinary teams; coach physicians in health behavior change; participate in hospital rounds as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement, practice transformation initiatives, workflow modification, and deployment of new efficiencies.
