Job summary

University of Utah is seeking a Clinical Project Manager to oversee oncology clinical trials from initiation to delivery at the Huntsman Cancer Institute campus. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, ensure protocol compliance, and manage documentation and reporting to sponsors and IRBs.

The role requires strong knowledge of regulatory guidelines, trial management software, and the ability to optimize workflows while mentoring staff and coordinating start-up activities.

Qualifications

• Three years of Oncology Clinical Research Coordinator Experience
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory guidelines for human subject research protections in clinical trials
• Clinical Trial Management Software experience
• Ability to assess processes, workflows and implement improvements for efficiency and quality

Responsibilities

• Supports Principal Investigators and study management staff with patient screening/enrollment, eligibility review, data submission and overall maintenance of trials.
• Ensures quality source documents and data submission to sponsors while maintaining protocol compliance within regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor and ensure eligibility, protocol requirements and data submission; address delinquency rates and outstanding queries.
• Provide oversight, direction and mentorship; supervise junior staff and ensure adequate coverage plans.
