Senior Clinical Project Manager | Early-Stage Medical Device Startup
Remote | Up to 30% travel
Want to join an early-stage medical-device company where your work can have a direct impact on the future of the business?
We’re partnering with an innovative, rapidly growing medical-device startup that is entering an exciting stage of clinical development and looking for a Senior Clinical Project Manager to play a critical role in advancing its clinical programs.
This is not a “keep the trains running” role at a massive corporation. You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership, work closely with leadership, build processes, and directly influence how clinical programs are executed as the company grows.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
- Join an early-stage medical-device company at an important point in its growth
- Have significant ownership and visibility across clinical programs
- Work directly with clinical leadership and cross-functional teams
- Help build and refine clinical processes as the organization scales
- Your experience and ideas will have a direct impact on the company and its clinical strategy
- Opportunity to be part of a team where you can build, influence, and make a difference rather than getting lost in a large corporate structure
What You’ll Own
- Lead complex clinical studies from start-up through closeout
- Develop and oversee protocols, CRFs, informed consent forms, and other key study documentation
- Manage site selection, activation, contracts, and budgets
- Oversee clinical monitoring activities and corrective actions
- Manage study safety activities, including adverse events and safety committee activities
- Develop study training plans and oversee training documentation
- Prepare interim, annual, and final clinical study reports
- Oversee investigational device allocation, distribution, and reconciliation
- Develop and track clinical study metrics and communicate progress to leadership
- Collaborate with investigators, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Help mentor and train team members on ICH/GCP and clinical research requirements
- Identify issues, solve problems, and keep clinical programs moving forward
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of clinical research experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; science or healthcare-related discipline preferred
- Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH, FDA, ISO, and applicable clinical research regulations
- Experience managing complex clinical studies
- Strong understanding of clinical trial execution and medical terminology
- Highly organized with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
- Ability to travel up to 30%
The Opportunity
If you're an experienced clinical research leader who wants to get closer to the action, have a voice in how things are built, and make a visible impact at an early-stage medical-device company, this could be a great time to make a move.
