Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Project Lead to join our clinical trial delivery team in Durham, NC. The role partners with clinical teams to ensure study delivery meets contractual obligations while leveraging IQVIA solutions for operational excellence.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage risk, and drive milestones, ensuring on-time, high-quality study execution and strong customer satisfaction. This position emphasizes leadership and strategic impact in clinical operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience including at least 1 year of project management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of the job area with broad knowledge of related areas.
• Knowledge of clinical trials, ICH GCP and applicable local regulations for trial conduct.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills; capable of leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bid defense presentations in partnership with Business Development, and lead for smaller regional studies.
• Delivery and management of smaller, less complex regional studies.
• Develop integrated study management plans with the core project team.
• Execute clinical studies per contract while optimizing speed, quality and cost; ensure standard processes are followed.
• Set objectives for the core project team and assess performance; communicate with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other functional groups to support milestones and manage study issues.
• Monitor progress against contract and present project information to stakeholders.
• Manage risk and lead problem solving and resolution efforts.
• Forecast and identify opportunities to accelerate activities and drive revenue.
