Premera Blue Cross seeks a Senior Clinical Pharmacist to lead trend management, affordability strategy, and clinical program development for high-impact medications. This role supports pharmacy savings, member affordability, and cross-functional product development.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in managed care pharmacy, strong project leadership, and collaboration across business, clinical and vendor teams to deliver cost-effective medication programs.

Formación

• Pharmacist with an advanced degree (e.g. PharmD, MBA, MHA, MPH) or six years work experience.
• Four years of clinical program development, management or consultation in a managed care setting.
• Experience in managed care pharmacy.
• Experience with project management.
• Health Plan claims analytics experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple, complex, concurrent projects.
• Effective written and verbal communication; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills.
• Familiarity with local and regional health care issues.

Responsabilidades

• Lead trend management projects and develop cost-effective pharmacy programs.
• Develop clinical programs to manage utilization and high-impact medications.
• Monitor utilization and costs across pharmacy and medical benefits.
• Design affordability improvement initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Manage vendor relationships and track program performance.
• Collaborate with Rx Product Managers on pricing, reporting, and marketing.
• Partner with Rx functions to shape high-impact drug management strategies.
• Create trend reports and actionable insights for pharmacy strategies.
