Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in a chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory science.
• Certification by ABBG/ABMGG/CCMG at hire and maintained.
• MD or DO with clinical lab oversight and pathology board certification.
• New York state qualification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience in high complexity genetic testing and sign-out capability.

Responsibilities

• Review genetic testing data and sign out laboratory results.
• Curate gene panels with literature-backed lists.
• Lead process-improvement projects to drive cost savings and productivity.
• Troubleshoot test systems with technical staff and ensure remediation.
• Mentor others and promote cross-functional collaboration.
